Сильный и мудрый персонаж Оби-Ван Кеноби прожил долгую и насыщенную жизнь и появлялся в различных проектах вселенной Звёздные Войны и еще появится в собственном сериале Кеноби. За долгие годы жизни Оби-Ван стал самым опытным бойцом с ситхами и темными джедаями из всех рыцарей и мастеров Ордена тех лет. Еще будучи падаваном, он сумел поразить Дарта Мола на Набу, правда, это настолько подогрело его самооценку, что спустя 10 лет он проиграл дуэль не только графу Дуку, но не смог даже задержать Джанго Фетта. Без сомнения, вдумчивый и внимательный Оби-Ван сделал какие-то выгоды, потому что в ходе войны клонов он полностью изменил приоритетную школу боя. Впрочем, он озадачился этим еще раньше. До схватки с Дартом Молом на Набу падаван в стиле боя был почти полной копией Квай-Гона Джинна. Вот только техника Джинна требовала больших физических усилий и наличия пространства. Но что заставило Магистра пойти на смерть, приняв бой со своим бывшим учеником Дартом Вейдером, и так ли все просто, как нам рассказали?

What if there was an Empire-focussed short Star Wars animation, drawn with the crazy detail and shading of classic 80s anime thats all but vanished from Japan nowadays?
Well, I tried my best. Apologies in advance for not living up to Venus Wars standards.
Drawn and animated by yours truly over 4 years worth of weekends, with music by the living guitar solo Zak Rahman and sound design by up and coming audio technician Joseph Leyva. Fans of Lucasarts seminal 1994 TIE Fighter game may notice a few familiar sights and sounds. That “incoming missile” noise gives me horrible flashbacks to this day…
Special thanks to the good folk at Lucasfilm for encouraging people to get creative and make these kind of projects. Its thanks to their extremely fan-friendly nature that we can enjoy IMPS: The Relentless, TROOPS, etc.
